New cannabis therapy for CECD sufferers
Alta California Botanicals, it says, has introduced the first cannabis therapy for Clinical Endo-Cannabinoid Deficiency (CECD). As far back as 2004, research found that cannabis was an effective treatment for such conditions as fibromyalgia, migraines, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, insomnia and Lyme disease. The Alta California Botanicals cannabis therapy is derived from the chemical operations of the plant. Patients can select micro, normal, or macro dosing alternatives. The CBMEs can be taken orally, or sublingually, or made in to suppositories.

PR move of the week
How do you promote your new product (we wrote about it recently) and keep the press coming? Offer free weed for a year. That's what Lift is doing. To help raise awareness about the benefits of medical cannabis and the challenges that many Canadians face in covering the associated costs, the company is offering a lucky patient free medical cannabis for a year. Dubbed "Canada's Free Cannabis Contest," Lift invites eligible contestants to enter on its website or in-person at the company's upcoming Lift Cannabis Expo. Yep, the winner receives up to one gram of medical cannabis per day, for 365 days. Our hats off to some clever PR.
