MassRoots' connections grow
MassRoots, Inc. has announced that more than 100 dispensary locations have signed a one year listing contract for MassRoots' dispensary finder, including some of the leading cannabis industry brands. MassRoots' dispensary finder aims to connect its passionate, engaged community of over 900,000 cannabis consumers with the best dispensaries and products in their local area. It is currently undergoing user testing ahead of its beta release. "People are eager for a fresh and different approach to finding the best stores and products - we believe MassRoots will fill that void in short order," stated MassRoots CEO Isaac Dietrich.

Cannabis retailers: Anywhere, anytime
Jane, the express ordering and payment kiosk platform that helps cannabis retailers serve more customers and sell more product, announced that they have launched a new solution called Jane Xpress. Leveraging the effectiveness of mobile and self-service ordering technology, Jane Xpress empowers marijuana retailers with a set of tools to meet the needs of today's perpetually on-the-go consumer. Dispensary customers can experience the benefits of Jane Xpress in two ways. The mobile order ahead app, available for iOS and Android, lets on-the-go customers order from anywhere, anytime. They can browse the dispensary's full menu, place an order from their mobile device and have it ready for them when they arrive. For in-store customers, the self-service ordering tablet lets them skip the line and order instantly, so they can be in and out in minutes.

Cannabis coalition gets legal muscle
The Cannabis Consumers Coalition (CCC), a member based cannabis consumer advocacy and watchdog organization based out of Denver, CO, has officially signed on to be represented by the prestigious Fox Rothschild LLP, an Am Law 100 firm with nearly 750 attorneys practicing in 22 offices nationwide. The CCC, with the support of Fox Rothschild, will continue to work toward creating a consumer-focused cannabis industry that has a foundation based on ethical business practices and fairly regulated frameworks across the country.

Life in a cannabis start-up company
Fast Company has a raucous read on what it's like working for and launching a cannabis company. We're just going to share a quote from the piece to give you an ideal of what a great read it is (and you should really read the whole piece here):

"We're not like an email marketing startup, or a data analytics startup. With cannabis there's so much opportunity and excitement, each person here is kind of buzzing with the extra energy you get when you have this wide open field of opportunity in front of you."

Yep.
